The variety show is the annual event organized by Legacy Crop Improvement Centre (LCIC). The event creates a forum to showcase smart technologies (seeds) and related services at LCIC. The first – two variety shows were attended by high-profile personalities from academia, research institutions, seed associations, farmer groups, food processors, and other interested stakeholders. This year’s edition, which is the third edition will come off on Thursday, August 4, 2022, between 9 am – 11 am at Otareso near Legacy Square in the Akuapem North Municipality. The event would have in action our climate-smart technology (hybrid maize variety) with the brand name LEGACY 2, which is an early maturing variety and grain yield of 9 tons per hectare. The forum will provide opportunities for all stakeholders to learn about services available in our smart seed business center, Legacy Square.
