The African Food System Forum 2024 #AFSForum2024 recently convened in Kigali Convention Center, Kigali, Rwanda, bringing together diverse stakeholders, including world leaders, investors, academia, farmers’ organizations, technologies best practices, business models, policy delivery mechanisms, and investments to accelerate food systems transformation in Africa and beyond.
Themed “Innovate, Accelerate and Scale: Delivering food systems transformation in a digital and climate era” AFSForum2024 tackled critical issues such as climate change, food insecurity, and sustainable agriculture practices. The forum featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions showcasing innovative solutions and success stories from various African countries where #LCIC was one of the sponsors of the 2024 Forum, and its CEO, Dr. Amos Rutherford Azinu, and his team attended.
As the forum closed, participants departed with renewed commitment and actionable plans to transform Africa’s food systems. AFS Forum 2024 served as a testament to the power of collective action and collaboration in shaping Africa’s food-secure and sustainable future.
