LCIC Hosts Innovative Seed Business Masterclass

The National Seed Trade Association of Ghana (NaSTAG) recently concluded a groundbreaking two-day Seed Master Class for Seed Companies, marking a significant milestone in the country’s agricultural sector. The event, which took place on October 9-10 at the Legacy Crop Improvement Centre in Otareso, Eastern Region, focused on equipping participants with cutting-edge marketing strategies and business acumen.

Dr. Amos Rutherford Azinu, President of NaSTAG, emphasized the importance of the training, stating, “This masterclass is designed to enhance our members’ skills in delivering high-quality services to their clients, ultimately boosting the profitability of their businesses.”

The comprehensive program covered several crucial areas, including:

Fifteen industry professionals participated in this intensive training, representing various segments of Ghana’s seed value chain.

NASTAG, founded in February 2016, serves as a unifying body for all seed value chain actors in Ghana. This recent initiative underscores the association’s commitment to advancing the country’s seed industry through education and skill development.
